We know we have been a little quiet on our pages recently, but there is a reason for it. We have been working to give you exactly what you asked for during our first year here.

We hope you all brought in the new year in style and made the New Year’s resolution: “We must do more camping and caravanning!” If you are planning your next getaway to Pen-yr-Orsedd, we have site updates to share with you. Here is what is waiting for you on your next visit.

1. Train in Our New Fitness Gym

Who says you have to leave your fitness routine behind when you go on holiday? Set in a log-cabin space, our new guest gym is now open.

We listened to your feedback and built a space where you can stay active, rain or shine. The gym includes:

• A multi-functional power rack, smith machine, and cable crossover system.
• A full set of dumbbells, kettlebells, and free weights.
• A wooden lifting platform and floor matting.
• The treadmill has arrived and is ready to use.

Whether you want to train during your stay or burn off the evening barbecue, the gym is ready for you.

2. Step Up to the Oche in the Games Lounge

If lifting weights is not your thing, we have another type of sport ready for you.

For anyone who enjoys a few local beers and suddenly thinks, “I can definitely take on Luke Littler,” we have installed a dartboard area. It includes an electronic 501 scorer, so you can challenge friends and family to a match.

Not playing? No problem. We have added couches in the cabin so spectators can relax, enjoy a drink, and watch the game.

3. Glamping Bathroom Upgrades Coming Soon

We have not stopped at the gym. For our glamping pod guests, we are putting the finishing touches on a new bathroom block.

Set to be completed within the month, this facility will include hot showers and modern conveniences after a day exploring the Welsh countryside. It adds more comfort to your outdoor stay.
